The Grade 2 listed building, built in 1789, has long been a prominent feature at the heart of Chickerell village. Having been sympathetically converted into a restaurant with hotel- standard guest accommodation, the interior of the building retains a wealth of original features and old world character which complement its warm and friendly atmosphere.

The The Heritage is family run and we pride ourselves on our exceptional friendliness and uncompromising quality. Our restaurant can accommodate up to around 70 people at any one time and our guest bedrooms are well furnished with everything any visitor, business or tourist, might require. Aside from being a popular and well recommended venue for lunches and evening meals, the restaurant is often used to host special occasions like birthdays and anniversary celebrations, or exclusively booked for wedding functions or funeral wake buffets.
